We are closed at weekends and on all bank holidays.
Orders after 1pm on Friday will only be recognised on Monday morning at 8am for handling time and production purposes.

In most cases, items are sent out within 24 hours of ordering. All other orders including bespoke or custom sized pieces are processed within 72 hours. If your order is required next day or for / on a specific delivery time / day then please confirm this before ordering, there may be additional postage charges on (non-standard) time critical items.
While everyone at J and A Foam Limited has excellently high standards in quality and workmanship, there may be unexpected size changes due to vacuum packaging and or varying temperature conditions. Polyurethane foam and polyurethane memory foam reacts differently to different temperature conditions, therefore, please allow a 2.54 cm (1 inch) dimension tolerance to all mattresses supplied by J and A Foam Limited. Returns will not be accepted to items (mattresses) within these parameters.
We use 2 shipping methods:

OWN VEHICLE - All local deliveries will be sent on our own vehicle (if available). Some national deliveries will also be sent using this method if the delivery is cost effective.
Delivery times are only to be used as a general guide and are not guaranteed whatsoever. Some items can be delayed through a fault of the courier (and not us) which are completely out of our control. In the event of any delays we will inform the customer as soon as they are brought to our attention. It is requested that you leave a contact telephone number and an email address (at the time of ordering) to help speed up any delivery issues. It is however possible to pay an additional charge for time critical orders with a money back guarantee, please ask for a quote before ordering.
Couriers do not deliver on weekends unless a guaranteed delivery time is booked.
Upon receipt of your order, it's recommended that you open the package as soon as possible. Some items are vacuum packed, folded, rolled or wrapped tightly and will need to resile (take the original shape). Some memory foam mattress can take up to 24 hours to fully recover. Foam reacts to temperature, the warmer the room then the faster the recovery.
Some foam may have a distinctive smell (usually when vacuum packed). This odour is totally harmless and safe for adults, children and pets. The smell will very quickly disperse if aired in a well ventilated room. Returns due to smell are not accepted.
From June 13th 2014 the Distance Selling Regulations were replaced by the Consumer Contracts Regulations. All customers of J and A Foam Limited have (by law) 14 days to cancel or return their order with the EXCLUSION of custom made / made to measure items. These bespoke items are exempt from Distance Selling Regulations and it is 100% the customers responsibility to order the correct size product. No refunds will be given for a 'customer error'. If the order is cancelled within this time and the package is unopened then a full refund will be given minus the original shipping charge. If a mattress is opened and not faulty then there will be a £50 carriage charge as well as the original shipping charge. Faulty mattresses will fall under the terms and conditions of our manufacturers guarantee and returns will be paid for by J and A Foam Limited within the first 12 months from the purchase date of the mattress.
All mattresses come with a 12 month guarantee as standard.
Our 5 year guarantee applies to specified mattresses purchased directly from ourselves.
J and A Foam Limited Terms of Guarantee
Your mellow® memory foam mattress has a 5 year limited guarantee under the following terms: Your mattress will be exchanged at your option without charge to you, should it be defective because of faulty workmanship during the first year (1) of the Limited Guarantee (other than specific limitations contained herein). It is understood that this does not include a normal increase in softness in the Vasco material (visco-elastic memory foam) or a decrease in the slow recovery feature, both of which do not affect the pressure relieving properties of the memory foam. It does, however, cover any deterioration of the Vasco material which causes the Vasco material to have an indentation of greater than two (2) cm which is not associated with a sag in the foundation, box or platform. If such a defect appears during the remaining four (4) years of the Limited Guarantee, we will replace the mattress charging the Purchaser a prorated charge plus a £20 admin fee. The prorated charge will be based on the original purchase price – being the price the Purchaser paid at the time he/she purchased the mattress divided by five (5) (being the years of the total Guarantee), multiplied by the number of years you have owned the mattress before the expiry of the Guarantee. The Cover is guaranteed for one (1) year for faults in material or workmanship. One (1) year after the date of purchase of the mattress all transportation costs shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser. All guarantees contained herein shall not apply if the mattress or cover has been physically damaged including burns and cuts or is abnormally soiled or is unsanitary. This Guarantee is valid only to the original Purchaser of the mellow® mattress. To make claim the Purchaser must provide proof of purchase by supplying an invoice or receipt.
